Last Game!

Exquisite Mirada Families,

Let's finish strong tomorrow and supporting our new coach in his first season with us. Also, we will have a brief awards ceremony after the game tomorrow. Lastly, if your child's team does not have a snack person, please if you are willing and able, provide snack for the last game. The children enjoy and appreciate the snack after each game. All-Stars had a lot of fun and did an excellent job competing. This is our first 13-15 Mirada Soccer Team. They made us proud. We can only get better. Goooooooooooo All-Stars!

Games are at the same time Saturday, December 8th

We have only 2 games left! We will see you there. Also, we have the East vs. West tournament Sunday. Come and support our chosen players. They are listed under the tournament tab. Soccer games are resuming this Saturday at Mesa Education at the same times. There are only 3 games left. Come ready to play!

Mirada Families and Team,

I just want to thank our three amazing teams and the support of all our loved ones this weekend. I want to recognize the All-Stars for their fantastic and memorable third place finish. The Blue Devils for finishing strong with a win this Sunday and receiving medals. And I especially want to recognize our Sharks/Scorpions who never gave up and had the most incredible finish. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Keep practicing during your break and I look forward to seeing everyone on December 1st.

Round Two of the Tournament

Message from Coach Sean:

I am so very excited about our teams advancing to the next round! We are in the tournament finals. Everyone did an awesome job! I am just so very excited about this opportunity. We did it Mirada families! Two of our teams are going back tomorrow. Please read below for the time of arrival and the team of challenge.

To the Sharks/Scorpions you did an awesome job today! You are a great team and I am so very proud of each of you and your efforts!

Blue Devils

• vs. Carol Rae tomorrow at 9am. Remember to bring your birth certificate and arrive a hour early for check in (8am).

All Stars

• vs. Mirage Wildcats tomorrow at 10am. Remember to bring your birth certificate and arrive a hour early for check in (9am)

Tournament Registration
We NEED ONE more player in the age group of 7-9 years old for the tournament. Any player in this age group who wants to play, please visit the sign in table and speak with Coach Sean. We have been allowed to extend the registration until tomorrow to complete our team. Please sign up and pay tomorrow for the November 17th tournament.

Dress to Win
Mirada teams we are playing tomorrow rainy, cold, or sunny. Please dress appropriately for the weather. You are great players. Enjoy yourselves and the game.

Location
Remember to check the sign in table for the location of your game. At this time you will learn the team you are competing against.

Snack Schedule
There are still dates available for any family who is willing and able to provide snack for your child's team. Please click on the Snack Schedule tab, review the slots available, and send an email or go to the sign in table to provide the date you are willing to provide snack.

Last Day to sign up for the Fall Tournament is this Saturday, October 27, 2012 (this was extended a week). You must sign up at our "Mirada" check-in table.

Calling All Mirada Champs!

This Saturday, October 20th, is our last practice of the season! Please be there to practice skills and strategies as we prepare for our first game of the season on October 27th.  Select the "Games" tab to view the Game #1 schedule for all of the Mirada Champs.  We can't wait to see you all on Saturday!

We had a great time at clinic last Saturday.  Thank you to all players and parents that came to the amazing event!  Now it's time to put those skills to use!  We have two more weeks of practice, then games begin on Oct. 27th!
